“Pan Hlaing: The Journey To A Land Where Flowers Bloom” follows the humdrum life of Kan Chon, a young man who dutifully works in a tea shop. In his mind and heart, he keeps nothing but the memory of his mother and her story about ‘the land where flowers bloom’. Everything takes a different turn for Kan Chon when he crosses path with Nan Khin Aye and her brother,
Sai Maung Maung. Soon, Kan Chon regains his inner strength and decides to leave the tea shop.
It aims to deliver a strong message to the youth. In essence, it is really about finding hope, gaining self-worth and empowerment, and having the courage to claim for a better and brighter future through education.
